Friends and Family,
Welcome to Yellowhammer Counseling! I am thrilled to share this website with you and to tell you about my private practice.
Before I do, I wanted to take just a moment to write to you all and share my immense gratitude for you. Many of you have known Jennifer and me for years, and you have seen portions of the journey we have been on. Our life has been filled with people who have shaped who we are: encouraging us, praying for us, counseling us, financially supporting us, and reminding us, time and again, of God’s goodness and faithfulness in our lives.
Now, we embark on this new journey, the culmination of years of dreaming, praying, and seeking. After two years of Graduate school, countless cups of coffee, thousands of words written, hundreds of counseling sessions, two internships, and passing two comprehensive examinations, I am a licensed counselor. In that same time, Jennifer has excelled in her career, becoming a tenured English teacher, we have added a second child to our family, and we have seen our marriage grow in ways I could never have imagined.
Truly, the Lord has dealt kindly with us.
This website is a small representation of all of our work and sacrifice, and all of your encouragement and prayer. A standing stone for my family, that the Lord is Good.
