About Sara
After more than 30 years helping individuals, couples, and families navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, family changes, and difficult seasons of life, I have developed a particular passion for working with women in midlife and beyond.
One thing I have learned through those years is that entering a new chapter does not mean starting over. You are starting from experience.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about what comes next. Shifts in marriage, family, career, or health, caring for aging parents, or adjusting to an empty nest can raise important questions about who you are and what you want the next chapter of your life to look like.
My counseling approach is warm, compassionate, honest, and practical. Together, we explore the patterns, relationships, and circumstances that may be keeping you stuck while developing practical tools to manage anxiety, strengthen relationships, build confidence, and create meaningful change.
After more than three decades as a counselor, I believe counseling is not simply about fixing what is wrong. It is also about understanding yourself more clearly, recognizing your strengths, and discovering how to move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and hope.
For clients who would like faith to be part of their counseling journey, I welcome the opportunity to incorporate it into our work together. I believe faith can be a meaningful source of hope, strength, and guidance, and I honor the unique beliefs, values, experiences, and relationship with faith that each person brings into the counseling room. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable bringing your whole self, including your faith, into the process.
If you are ready to stop simply coping and begin creating a more intentional next chapter, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
