Our Services
People come to counseling for all kinds of reasons. Sometimes something has happened that needs attention. Sometimes a relationship is hurting. Sometimes life looks fine from the outside, but something inside no longer feels sustainable.
Yellowhammer offers individual and couples counseling designed to help you understand what is happening, make sense of the patterns underneath it, and work toward meaningful change.
Counseling for Adolescents, Adults, and Couples.
Individual Counseling
Individual counseling gives you space to slow down and pay attention to what is happening beneath the surface. Together, you and your counselor can explore the experiences, relationships, beliefs, and patterns that have shaped the way you understand yourself and respond to the world around you.
You do not have to arrive with a diagnosis or even know exactly what you need help with. Sometimes counseling begins simply with knowing that something needs to change.
Individual counseling may include work around:
Anxiety · Depression · Trauma · Relationship patterns · Family of origin · Grief and loss · Identity · Life transitions · Religious trauma · Personal growth
Couples Counseling
Couples often come to counseling wanting to communicate better. But communication is usually only part of the story. Arguments, distance, resentment, or loss of trust are often connected to deeper patterns that have developed between two people.
Couples counseling creates space to slow that pattern down, understand what is happening underneath it, and begin building different ways of relating to one another.
Couples counseling may help with:
Communication · Recurring conflict · Emotional disconnection · Intimacy · Infidelity and betrayal · Trust · Attachment patterns · Major transitions · Discernment about the future of the relationship
Who should I see?
